OPERATING PRINCIPLE The switch notifies you of the first signs of a break-in. The device registers that a door or window is opened/broken open. If the alarm is connected, the door switch sends a signal to the hub, which will respond and alarm. FUNCTIONS The door/window switch consists of 2 units - a detector and a magnet. Included in the set are 2 magnets. The distance between the 2 mounted units determines which magnet you should use. The large magnet is installed at a distance of up to 2 cm and the small magnet up to 1 cm. The Plus model can also be used for e.g. leaving skylights open as it detects changes in vertical tilt angle as well as vibrations. INSTALLATION AND SETUP The door/window switch is ready to install right out of the box; the battery is pre-installed and it is therefore not necessary to disassemble the switch. With a single click, it is connected to the hub via the mobile app. The switch is mounted on the supplied SmartBracket quickly and easily.
