Delivery

All in-stock items ordered before 12 PM on weekdays are generally shipped the same day. Items that are not in stock are shipped as soon as possible. If the delivery time exceeds 5 days, we will contact the customer once we become aware of a delay from our supplier.

All orders to Denmark are shipped with PostNord or GLS, and larger items are shipped with Danske Fragtmænd directly from our suppliers.
Deliveries to other countries will be transported by partners of GLS and PostNord outside Denmark, such as DPD or similar.

If your order is to be delivered outside Denmark, please expect a slightly longer delivery time.

If you order with Flex delivery or allow delivery without a signature, the responsibility transfers to the customer once the carrier has delivered the package. This is an agreement between the customer and the carrier, and disputes should be resolved between these two parties and are beyond our control.

If you order for delivery to a parcel shop, please note that we cannot guarantee that your package will arrive at the correct parcel shop during peak times. The carrier sometimes moves the package to the nearest pickup location if a given parcel shop is full.

If you forget to pick up the package from the parcel shop and it is returned to us, we will keep the package until you contact us. If you want the package resent, you can order a new delivery at the bottom of our website.
If you wish to cancel the order, the shipping cost will be deducted before we issue a refund, and in special cases, we may/will charge the return costs in the refund.

Free shipping on purchases over 799 DKK applies only to items and orders where delivery is ordered to a GLS parcel shop in Denmark. Not all items can be delivered to a parcel shop, and therefore, free shipping does not apply to all items. For example, safes and multipoint locks cannot be delivered to a parcel shop.

 

International Delivery

Norway

Private Customers:

Customs and VAT:

  • Orders under 3000 NOK:

    • Goods costing less than 3000 NOK are covered by the VOEC scheme.
    • Norwegian VAT (25%) is paid directly in our webshop at the time of purchase.
    • No additional customs duties or VAT are charged upon receipt in Norway.
  • Orders over 3000 NOK:

    • Goods costing more than 3000 NOK are not covered by the VOEC scheme.
    • These orders must be cleared through customs locally in Norway.
    • The customer receives the goods without VAT from Denmark.
    • Upon receipt, the customer must pay Norwegian VAT (25%) and any applicable customs duties.

Business Customers:

Customs and VAT:

  • Business customers in Norway who shop at lavpris-laase.dk are not subject to the VOEC scheme.
  • These customers will receive their goods without VAT from Denmark.
  • Upon receipt of the goods in Norway, business customers must settle Norwegian VAT and any applicable customs duties themselves.

 

Greenland and the Faroe Islands

Customs and VAT:

  • When customers from Greenland and the Faroe Islands shop at lavpris-laase.dk, the goods are sold without Danish VAT (25%).
  • The goods are typically sent to a port in Denmark, from where they are forwarded to Greenland or the Faroe Islands.
  • Upon receipt of the goods, customers must pay local VAT and any applicable customs duties, depending on the regulations in Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Tax-Free Shopping:

  • If customers from Greenland and the Faroe Islands have purchased goods in Denmark and take them with them, they can apply for a refund of the Danish VAT.
  • This requires presenting the goods and the necessary documents to customs at the airport or port when leaving Denmark.

Specific Procedure for Port Shipments:

  • The goods are often sent to a Danish port such as Aalborg or Esbjerg, from where they are forwarded by ship to Greenland or the Faroe Islands.
  • Customers are responsible for paying customs duties and VAT upon the arrival of the goods in Greenland or the Faroe Islands.

 

Non-EU Countries

VAT:

  • Goods exported to countries outside the EU are sold without Danish VAT (25%).
  • The customer will see the price excluding VAT at checkout.

Customs and VAT in the Destination Country:

  • Upon receiving the goods in the destination country, the customer must pay local VAT and any applicable customs duties according to the regulations in their country.
  • These charges vary from country to country and may depend on the value and type of the goods.

Shipping:

  • The goods are shipped directly from our warehouse to the customer's address in the destination country.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and local customs processing times.

Example Procedure:

  1. Order: The customer orders and pays for the goods without Danish VAT at lavpris-laase.dk.
  2. Shipping: We send the goods to the customer's address in the non-EU country.
  3. Customs Processing: Upon arrival in the destination country, the goods undergo customs processing.
  4. Charges: The customer pays the local VAT and customs duties to receive the goods.

Special Considerations:

  • Customers should be aware that customs processing can take time, and there may be additional costs associated with importation that are not covered by lavpris-laase.dk.
  • It is always a good idea for customers to check their local regulations and charges before ordering to avoid unexpected costs.
