OPERATING PRINCIPLE The motion detector registers movement/presence via a passive IR sensor. Data is processed digitally to avoid false alarms. FUNCTIONS The device automatically increases or decreases the sensitivity of the sensor to accurately detect movement in hot and cold weather. INSTALLATION AND SETUP The unit is ready for assembly and installation as soon as it is unpacked from the packaging: the battery is already installed and it is therefore not necessary to disassemble the detector.
