DC640 freewheel door closer w/arm silver (2018)
DC640 electrohydraulic ASSA ABLOY door closer with built-in magnetic retention is used for doors with a max. weight of 120 kg, max. width of 1400 mm. Recommended for fire doors where a "free-running" function is particularly desired. This function means that there is no resistance (spring force) when the DC640 is connected to 24VDC, but always closes in case of power failure or fire alarm via ABDL system. Suitable for doors in nurseries, kindergartens, care homes, residential and activity centers or other places where a regular door closer function with magnetic retention is not appropriate. Please note that, in connection with ABDL systems, a separate release pressure must be installed in accordance with Danish Fire Technology Institute regulations 231.
