Acrylic sealant 557 is a plasto-elastic 1-component water-based sealant that can be painted over. The product hardens when water evaporates. Acrylic grout 557 is used for indoor grouting around doors and windows, as well as for filling cracks, plate joints, pipe penetrations, etc. The grout is also suitable for so-called "sound joints". Acrylic sealant 557 is used on surfaces such as concrete, brick, treated wood, anodized aluminum etc. without the use of a primer.
