Dana Foil Adhesive 298 Foil Adhesive 298 is a water-based dispersion adhesive, specially developed for gluing and sealing joints between building components and vapor barrier foils. The adhesive is tested according to EN 1026 (airtight up to 600 Pa) after wind load according to EN 12211 (changing tension and pressure of 1000 Pa, as well as incremental pressure up to 2000 Pa), and is part of the overall construction to ensure the airtightness of buildings , and thus the energy requirements in the building regulations. The foil adhesive ensures a fast and tight gluing of foil and building materials such as e.g. stone, wood, plaster, concrete. Foil adhesive 298 is easy to apply, odorless and contains neither organic solvents, isocyanates nor silicone. The adhesive must not be used for moisture protection in wet zones, on marble/natural stone, on bitumen-containing materials and in joints with constant moisture exposure (e.g. underground, foundations etc.).
