Dana Backstop 980 Joint base 980 is used as a base when jointing with elastic joint compounds, to ensure correct dimensioning and that the joint compound does not adhere to the bottom of the joint. This results in improved movement properties and longer durability of the joint. Joint base 980 consists of round profiles with closed cells, and can thus be used for both external and internal joints. Joint base 980 is supplied in diameters from 6 mm - 50 mm.
