Floor joint 553 belongs to the new generation of MS-polymer sealants that combine the best properties of silicone and polyurethane sealants. The sealant hardens by reacting with the humidity of the air, forming an elastic joint that can absorb movements of up to +/- 25%. Floor joint 553 is specially developed for jointing wooden floors and finished parquet, as well as for sealing between floors and other building parts, e.g. walls, stairs, columns etc. The sealant can be sanded and varnished with most common water- and alcohol-based floor varnishes. Floor joint 553 is absolutely odorless, neutral and fast-hardening.
