Floor joint 553 belongs to the new generation of MS-polymer sealants, which combine the best properties of silicone and polyurethane sealants. The joint compound hardens by a reaction with the humidity of the air, and forms an elastic joint that can absorb movements of up to +/- 25%. Floor jointer 553 has been specially developed for jointing wooden floors and finished parquet, as well as for sealing between floors and other building parts, e.g. walls, stairs, pillars, etc. The joint compound can be sanded and varnished with most usual water- and alcohol-based floor varnishes. Floor joint 553 is absolutely odorless, neutral and fast-hardening.
