In collaboration with designer Christian Bjørn, Allux has created a new mailbox series with integrated LED light that switches on via a motion sensor. Postboxes are typically located where it is dark and light from the house often does not reach all the way, so it is practical to have light when you need to pick up packages and mail after dark.
In line with increasing online shopping, customers are demanding larger mailboxes that can hold more than just letters. But at the same time, they want a mailbox that is beautiful to have standing. The top is slightly sloping, which gives a light appearance, but at the same time has the function that rainwater runs off, and rubbish or other things cannot be placed on top of the mailbox.
The letterbox is made of galvanized powder-coated steel and fitted with a Ruko lock, so that packages and letters are securely closed inside.
