ASSA ABLOY padlocks with black chrome surface have been on the market since 1991! therefore we are happy to be able to present a new design, in the same good quality. New padlocks will be introduced continuously in 2024 The padlocks in stainless look will be introduced continuously in 2024. Fire at the factory While we were working on our new design for the padlocks in stainless look, a fire broke out at the factory in the area that makes the padlock with a black surface. Which means that we now have a limited batch of the padlocks with a black surface. Therefore, on some models, you will receive an intermediate solution in a stainless look (see picture) with the same item number as when you order the black padlock.

Please note with the Sampakkerne the mailbox lock is ALWAYS with the comb piece up, we do not recommend that you change the comb piece yourself as there is a high risk of the lock breaking when you do so.

If you want the comb piece to be a different design, contact us.

Please also note that the new RUKO Oval cylinders cannot be changed to Box lock cylinders as the drum needs to be changed, if you need to use the oval cylinder for a box lock then you must buy the Cylinder which is intended for this.

Technical specifications

The lock cylinder uses the new patented d12 technology. The cylinder is made up of 6 advanced pins, with 2 code heights
per pin and 12 code positions per key.


For all doors

The Series 1200 lock cylinders can be mounted in all locks and fit Ruko's wide range of fittings. Series 1200 is available in three variants:
polished chrome, polished brass and stainless look.


Approvals and markings

The cylinder meets requirements according to DS/EN 1303:2005 6/2, which are used by insurance companies.


Maintenance

Before the lock is used for the first time, it must be lubricated with ASSA ABLOY lock spray. ASSA ABLOY recommends that the lock is then lubricated at least every six months to ensure that it always functions optimally.

The code tag is important

As the owner of a Series 1200 lock, you must pay attention to the green code tag, shaped like a key.
You must store it in a safe place so that you can always find it again. The code tag must be used for ordering
extra lock cylinders and that way you can get the same key for your other external doors, the mailbox and the windows. Oval cylinder for mounting on ASSA ABLOY Connect and modular lock boxes, etc. Secured with 2 screws.
