RB1680 is a complete window lock that is locked by a light pressure on the cylinder. The key can be removed in both locked and unlocked positions. Can be mounted on right-, left- and top-hung windows. Supplied complete with screws and end plate for both outward- and inward-facing windows.

Maintenance
Before the lock is used for the first time, it must be lubricated with ASSA ABLOY lock spray. ASSA ABLOY recommends that the lock is then lubricated at least every six months to ensure that it always functions optimally.
If you already have a Series 600 lock, you can easily and inexpensively switch to Series 600RB. You can use a Series 600RB key to open the old Series 600 lock with the same key code, but the old Series 600 keys cannot open the new Series 600RB lock. It is therefore essential that everyone in the household has their keys updated for Series 600RB. It also means that you can replace your Series 600 cylinders at a pace that suits you.
