Function Narrow profile latch with interlock. The lock is mainly controlled electrically, so that it locks automatically after using the cylinder/turner or handle, if there is no impulse or constant signal indicating that it must be unlocked. When the door is closed, the auxiliary latch blocks the door handle latch in the latched position. With the electromagnetic locking function, the unlocking can e.g. controlled by access control systems, on/off clocks, fire alarm systems, etc. El482 can be set to either right-facing or reverse function. The door handle is electronically controlled. With clockwise operation, the door handle only opens when the power is on, and thus does not work when the power is off. In reverse operation, the door handle does NOT open with power on, but when the power is cut off. The lock can always be opened with a key or twist.
