THE SERVICE PADLOCK Our padlock 83/50 is a solid padlock with a chrome-plated lock housing for securing larger values with a high risk of theft. Do you want to secure large valuables with a high risk of theft in a reliable way? Our service lock 83/50 may be a good solution for you. It is suitable for securing grids, doors, gates, cupboards, tool boxes, basement windows, sheds, switching equipment or barriers and can e.g. can be combined with our profile cylinders C83, EC550, EC660, XP20S with the same key. The chrome-plated lock housing is made of solid brass and the hardened special steel shackle has Nano Protect™ coating for very high corrosion protection. Inside there is a special cylinder. You can decide for yourself whether the lock should close automatically or should be locked with a key. The variant with Closed Shackle (CS), i.e. a raised lock housing means extra protection of the steel shackle, which makes it much more difficult to break open the lock, e.g. with a bolt cutter.
